When Andy and Opie go fishing, they always take Eagle-Eye Annie along. That's Andy's favorite fishing rod. Andy once had to swap his prized rod in order to get a bed jacket that Aunt Bee wanted for her birthday ("The Bed Jacket," Episode #75) from Mayor Stoner.
That didn't bother Andy, though, because old Eagle-Eye Annie was bringing him even greater happiness by enabling Aunt Bee to have the bed jacket she so dearly wanted.
