June 23, 2006 - Msg 4196: Spending the last 6 months in bed with multiple surgeries, TAGS reruns with Don Knotts have kept me company daily and gave me both laughter and calm in what was otherwise the most painful time of my life. Thanks Don for helping me and so many others. You'll always be with us!

June 23, 2006 - Msg 4197: I was born well after the Andy Griffith Show was off the air but have enjoyed the re-runs for as long as I can remember. I had recently been sick and I needed something to help get my mind off of the way I was feeling, so I sent a friend out to buy me 6 seasons of the Andy Griffith Show, and then proceeded to re-watch all the episodes back to back over a two week period. There could not be a better medicine then watching Don Knotts play the role of Barney Fife. Their has never been nor will their ever likely be another actor who can combine such zany humour with such a lovable character. He was definetly way a head of his time; I am sure Jim Carey and many other actors have taken a page or two from Don but know one can combine the art of acting with humour like Don . I wish their was a town like Mayberry that I could move to where things were simple and where people cared for one another so much. I think these attributes and the humour of Don offset by the wholesome role of Andy Griffith gave the show its magic, and I would be willing to bet that a hundred years from now people will still be enjoying the show and laughing a loud to the talents of Don Knotts. Thank you Don for all the memories you have created in Mayberry and California in Threes Company and on. Ron Horton, Ontario, Canada

June 23, 2006 - Msg 4198: Barney is now in heaven; probably running down Otis and Ernest T.

There will never be another actor that can play this character.

Thanks Don (aka Barney) for making the world just a little bit better.

June 24, 2006 - Msg 4199: The series had begun two years before I was born but, I can honestly say that I have been able to enjoy and love TAGS for better than 30years. I believe that the show would not have history nor the following after 40+ years if it were not for Don's character "Barney Fife". God bless Don and all of those who have gone before to the Mayberry in the sky.

June 24, 2006 - Msg 4200: Don was an inspiration to us all. I have my own chapter of TAGSRWC, and Barney is my character, and no one can do that quite like him. Thanks Barn!!! Barnwannabe.

June 24, 2006 - Msg 4201: I just watched The Ghost & Mr. Chicken for the first time in about 30 years. Don was terrrific and funny--as usual. You are missed, sir.

June 25, 2006 - Msg 4202: I grew up when tv was committed to entertaining. Shows like Andy Griffith did just that. And Barney was the most entertaining character that will ever grace tv then now and well in the future. Thanks for giving your public a great sense of what was. A fan forever Kathy

June 25, 2006 - Msg 4203: Thank you Mr. Knotts for making us believe that Barney Fife really existed. You were part of the best television show ever made. JEK

June 25, 2006 - Msg 4205: Don Knotts, as Barney Fife, was simply the funniest character ever on television.

June 26, 2006 - Msg 4206: June 26, 2006
I grew up watching the Andy Griffith shows (complete with the J-E-L-L-O commercials)& EVERY film that Don Knotts was in. I feel his sense of values, sensitivity, & honesty came thru every time I ever heard him speak at ceremonies, or interviews. The genuine qualities of him will never be duplicated on this old world again. I believe in Heaven, and I believe Don is there, still being silly, & do snazzy dancing while snapping to music for his true Creator/Director! RS-OKC

June 26, 2006 - Msg 4207: Thanks Mr. Knotts for making me laugh at Barney's character and love him for his clean, wholesome humor. I grew up watching and enjoying every episode and I will grow old watching true icons of television history. You helped make living in this world ever so much easier. a fan forever---Scott

June 26, 2006 - Msg 4208: Watching Andy Griffith is like soup and a warm blanket on a cold and rainy day. It's like coming home again, even though you know you can never truly go back. With the passing of Don Knotts it is another reminder that we can't go back. But we can visit forever via the legacy of work he left behind in the Andy Griffith show. I know he is resting at ease. God Bless him, for the joy he gave the world.
Much Love,
Sean M. Shields

June 27, 2006 - Msg 4210: I have always been a fan of the Andy Griffith Show and especially of Don Knotts as Barney Fife. As so many others have already said, he gave a unique spin to a character that will never be forgotten. My favorite episodes are those when Barney played a key role. June 27, 2006 - Msg 4212: I guess I can't say enough about Don! I first saw him on the Steve Allen Show (The Tonite Show) back in the 50's as the "Roavvvving Reporter" and the "Brain Surgen". He would get Steve Allen rolling off his chair as he tried to interview him. I new then that I would follow his carrer. I sure didn't know the Lord had the plan that he handed to me. Yes, it was a wonderful plan that I do and will cherrish every day for the rest of my life.
I don't think he really understood the impact he made and now, left behind. He was and will be be remembered for the wonderful, zanny, carefree, always in control (HAHA), and the ability to make anyone laugh. I know I will have a big void in my life. "Thank You" Don Knotts, for all the joy and letting me call you my friend.
The world is a better place because of you!
You will live on forever in our hearts and in Mayberry.

June 28, 2006 - Msg 4215: Don Knotts goes hand in hand with the best times of my life. The Andy Griffith Show was truly a very heartwarming half hour that I never missed. July 02, 2006 - Msg 4224: Mayberry....My Home Town.
I was raised in Ellerslie Georgia, a place that is like Mayberry. Everyone knew everyone. The Andy Griffith Show was, and still is,very important to me. It reminds me of the simple life that I had as a kid, and of the values that my Father taught me.
Barny was the perfect charachtor. Every town has a "Barney".
Although Don Knotts is gone, his life lives on through Barney.
Barney Fife was, and still is, the funniest figure on TV.
He is sadly missed.

July 07, 2006 - Msg 4232: My most favorite Don Knotts moment was when he and Floyd were held hostage by three female convict escapees in a cabin. I can still see Barney dancing with one of the inmates while Floyd was smiling and eating a banana. The one liners in that half hour were priceless, just like Don Knotts was, priceless. Thanks for all the warm fuzzies, and you will be greatly missed.

July 08, 2006 - Msg 4233: Thanks Mr. Knotts!!! I grew up enjoying your Deputy Fife character as well as other movies you were in. I think my favorites (movies) are the Apple Dumpling Gang Movies, but I know I can watch any movie or t.v. show you were in and I can walk away feeling great because of the laughter and joy your character brings. When it comes to good, clean, family entertainment Don Knotts, "Nips it in the bud." You will be greatly missed, but as Bob Hope would say, "Thanks for the memories." He was so gracious to us, he laughed so much when we told him we had to leave Thelma Lou (CH Savitar's Miss Mayberry)at home because we couldn't handle more than 2 of the dogs. He even signed the pictures for us when we went to the New Dinner Theatre to see him a week later. I will never forget the funny man, who was such a great human being. July 13, 2006 - Msg 4251: I grew up in North Carolina watching Mayberry. What a treat! The stories were so real and everyone seemed like you knew them in real life. Don Knotts was not the same in other work but I did enjoy some of his movies as a child like the Ghost and Mr. Chicken. I will pass along these shows to my children, one of which is 2 years old now. The messages and joy those Andy shows brought to my life are unforgetable. Without Barney, they just were not the same. July 19, 2006 - Msg 4269: Mr. Knotts, you will be very much missed as one of the best actors of all time. With that said, I believe you will be missed more as a friend from the recollections I have heard from people like Andy Griffith and Ronny Howard. Although I only got to see the show as reruns, the character of Barney Fife and all the shows that had Barney as an integral character kept thousands and thousands of people glued to their TV sets. This in in addition to life skills that were learned by many of us via the cast of The Andy Griffith Show. Rest in Peace. Posted by Todd Smith, University Place, WA.

July 22, 2006 - Msg 4279: Don Knotts as Barney Fife was without a doubt the funniest character I have ever seen. When I turn the reruns on TV or put in a DVD to watch I just crack up laughing everytime I see Barn. My wife says what are you laughing about nobody's done anything yet and I just say yeah but I know what's coming next and no matter how many times I watch TAGS, Barney still cracks me up. Don is someone who will forever be remembered by me. Thanx, Don for all those great memories. Hope to meet ya in Heaven some day. Joe, Greencastle, Pa.

July 25, 2006 - Msg 4280: THE BLACK AND WHITE EPISODES WERE THE BEST. DON WAS THE SHOW. MY FAVORITE EPISODE WAS WHEN DON GIVES INFORMATION TO A REPORTER TRYING TO GET DIRT ON ANDY. HE THEN STUCK UP FOR ANDY IN A SPEECH THAT DEFINED WHAT MAYBERRY WAS ALL ABOUT.

July 25, 2006 - Msg 4281: I've always loved the B&W episodes of the Andy Griffith show. I am an actor by trade, and I've always admired Don Knotts' work on the show. He had incredible range, from the excited, nervous guy wanting to impress and be important, to the embarrassed, hurt individual who never meant any harm. When Mr. Knott's was the latter, it always broke my heart. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Don Knotts a couple of years ago at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, and he was very wonderful and gracious. I'm glad to say I had the chance to tell him how much I admired his work before he passed on.

July 25, 2006 - Msg 4283: The Andy Griffith show was one of my favorite T.V. shows and will always be. As I have seen the re-runs hundreds of times, I always seem to get a feeling of warmth and laughter. There was something innocent about the town of Mayberry, that we rarely may ever see again in our lives. Sometimes I feel like Aunt B, Andy, Barney and the others were like family. Don Knotts expressions, really made the show come alive with his enthusiasm, excitement and comedic humor. Although Don has passed away, I hope his re-runs
will continue to be shown forever, and his comedy will bring laughter for generations to come. Farewell my friend, may you rest in peace in Heaven. James Chane, CA.

July 26, 2006 - Msg 4288: Hats off to Barney on the "Jailbreak" episode. You would have thought he'd use a stunt double to try and stop that V-8 station wagon and trailer....But NOOOOO, not Barney, he handled that scene all alone. But seriously Don, your talent and humor was just the best. We shall miss you greatly.

July 27, 2006 - Msg 4289: I haven't read all of the tributes, but it looks like I'm one of the blessed few who grew up watching TAGS before they were reruns.

There are too many words to express what TAGS has done and still does to my spirit. Always uplifting, hysterically funny and Mr. Don Knotts was the best. I plan to meet him when I get to heaven so I hope I can return the favor and maybe make him laugh a little too.

God Bless you Mr. Knotts

July 28, 2006 - Msg 4296: Miss You Barney (Don). I watch The Andy Griffith show every evening in Juneau Alaska. Barney Fife was always my favorite on that show, and when he left it, it was never the same. I also enjoy watching some of Don's movies; my favorite one is "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken". Rest now, Don...we always will remember you.

July 28, 2006 - Msg 4299: I have so many favorite Barney moments, but the one of my best ones was when barney and floyd were held hostage at a cabin be three escaped female inmates. Ihe banter between Barney, Floyd and the three women was funny from the beginning to the end. Barney you will be missed, fans forever kathy and sara

In the Mayberry that I hold in my memories, I
award you the title of "HONORARY SHERIFF of MAYBERRY". Rest In Peace Sir.

July 28, 2006 - Msg 4302: Your the real thing, Barney. Cherish your times with Thelma Lou, and be assured that, it just wasn't ment to be.

July 29, 2006 - Msg 4303: Hey to Barney!
I grew up watching TAGS from the first show on, i still watch today and laugh just as hard. You are timeless. Thanks for all the lessons about life and for all of the laughs. You were one of a kind, a true classic.

July 29, 2006 - Msg 4304: i grew up watching such classica as the andy griffith show. I can't remember a time we missed watching that incrediable show. it was when people spoke well about each other, and with the Andy Griffith show, all you got was quality tv. Whenever I need a good laugh or a heartfelt feeling, I watch Andy, Don and the rest of the Mayberry residences, and all that bothers me just simply goes away. Not thats great tv. Barney was one of the funniest characters on the show, and his humor just made everything fall in place. Barney Fife was everyone's friend. He will be greatly missed. A fan forever, Kathie

July 29, 2006 - Msg 4305: Watching Barney is one of the greatest pleasures I can think of. God Bless, and you will be missed! Hunter Hamilton

July 29, 2006 - Msg 4306: Barney never had to say a thing. His facial expressions said it all. He was one of the best. You will be missed, A fan forever, Honey

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4307: I grew up watching Barney and Andy. Now that I am an adult, my children and grandchildren watch
it too. I can watch it now and that is the only time that you don't think about or worry about anything else is when you are watching those shows. There is a lesson for each child to learn in each and every show and they will learn right from wrong if all kids will just watch the reruns and keep the legend going it could help this messed up world we live in today.
There never will be another Barney Fife EVER!!
A Forever Fan: Dianne

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4308: Barney you were simply the best, and you are greatly missed! sara

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4309: Don and Andy made tv just the best to watch. You could tell that they were truly great friends. The show was just extension of that. Andy, Barney, Aunt Bee, Opie and all the other colorful, and caring citizens were just a joy to watch. Barney you will be missed!

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4310: July 30, 2006 - I grew up watching Andy, Barney, Aunt Bee, and Opie week after week. And Barney was my favorite character. I loved his humor, his antics, his goofy sayings: "Nip it in the bud!" There will never be another character like Barney, or the man who played him. Thanks, Barney (Don) for the memories! You will be missed but loved, by many fans. A fan forever, LucyLee

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4311: You brought Joy and Happiness in our lives! You made us laugh! And there is nothing on TV now, that can ever bring that innocence back to us.
You are forever in our hearts! Audrey

July 30, 2006 - Msg 4312: I still watch all the reruns Barney has brought so much joy into our lives today and forever. He was really loved by all his fans. RIP

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4313: Don Knotts just about made the show with his character Barney. I used to love when he'd get upset/surprised and opened his eyes so WIDE.....When my older son would get excited/upset, his eyes would open up like Barney's.....So instead of Bette Davis eyes, my son had "Barney Fife Eyes".....what a hoot!
The entertainment world lost a great soul when Don moved on to the next scene.......
Jeanie Coolahan, Arizona City, AZ

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4314: I loved the show and all the characters. I believe Don Knotts said toward the end of his life that he didn't care if they did re-makes of anything he did except the role of Barney Fife. I agree. That was his and his alone. That was his defining role of a lifetime, and he played it to perfection.

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4315: Don Knotts is the best! We love watching the Andy Griffith show! We wished we could meet you.

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4316: We love you Don. God bless!

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4317: I have been a fan of TAGS since I was a little girl. One of my Chihuahuas is named "Barney Fife" and he lives up to his name in every way.
Earth's loss is Heaven's gain...

July 31, 2006 - Msg 4318: TAGS was a family favorite when I was groing up. For many years I worked night shifts and watched TAGS reruns at noon. To this day I still watch reruns every chance I get. My favorite episodes are the ones where Barney Fife has a significant presence. I can't even imagine anyone but Don Knotts as Barney Fife. He always made me laugh and he will be missed but not forgotten.

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4319: Rest in peace, Don. Thank you for all the great laughs and memories. You are truly one of the greatest comedic actors of all time.

~Taren

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4320: I've watched The Andy Griffith Show for as long as I can remember. He brought laughter to our lives and joy to our hearts. I appreciate Don for the great actor he is first and for his superb role as Barney Fife second. Both will be missed. Tim

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4321: I am from Mt.Airy NC, Andy Griffith's hometown, and have been watching TAGS all my life. Losing Barney Fife was a great loss to the entertainment industry and also anyone who has ever watched The Andy Griffith Show! Noone could have ever played Barney as well as Don did! He was a big reason the show was so popular! You will be missed but always remembered Barney!
A Barney Fan from Mayberry

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4322: Thank you, Don Knotts, for creating the most memorable character of television. I own most of the shows, but continue to watch TV Land at 8:00 every evening I can. The dialogue is ingrained, but I never tire of visiting that utlimate hometown with the ultimate deputy and friend. I wish I could have told you in person.

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4323: Here we are five months after Don's passing and people are still posting comments as to the quality of TAGS and the admiration they have for Don Knotts. Today's entertainment executives should take note of this. I sincerely doubt that any modern day television show or actor would elicit this level of outpouring of love and respect. Interesting that I find myself in better shape these days because I exercise much more and watch televsion much less....

August 01, 2006 - Msg 4324: I enjoyed Don Knotts on Three's Company and the Andy Griffith Show!
PS
NIP IT IN THE BUD!!!

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4329: My favorite episode is where Barney gets a new car. There is a special place in Heaven for Don Knotts. I hope to meet you one day!.....Debbie Lawson, Jasper, GA

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4330: So many memories they cannot be counted. TAGS had to be the best show made, and wouldn't have been half what it was without old Barn. Thanks.

J Wright, Branson, MO

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4331: I can watch the Andy show over and over - Barney was the best!! I can still hear him try to recite the preamble to the Constitution, and can hear him say "nip it in the bud". I can see him and Gomer going through the haunted house with bugged out eyes. My all time favorite episode is Barney falling asleep in church listening to the boring visiting preacher Dr. Breem.
There will never be anyone as funny as Don Knotts portraying Barney Fife. God bless him for all the happiness he has brought the world.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4332: I have always enjoyed watching Mr. Knotts and I really loved him in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. My favorite saying of his which I use a lot with my family is "Nip it in the bud". I have never seen anyone get so worked up about stuff like he did. Miss you Don..........:)

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4333: Whenever I've had a bad day I could just watch
the any Griffith show and before long I was laughing and smiling cause it just makes you feel that way. All my life I've loved it and still do. Television doesn't make you feel that way anymore I'm just thankful that some stations understand we need to still see the show. Thanks Don Knotts for all the crazy moments and smiles you have brought to my face.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4334: I was also very sad to hear of Don Knotts passing. TAGS was such much a part of my life growing up. So many laughs, so many memories. How many times did we see Barney Fife struggle to get his revolver out of his holster? Or the time he purchased the used car from the Conn Artists and while Barney was driving the car the steering wheel started to rise up at him? And the look on his face when this happened? Priceless! :-) Aside from the Andy Griffith Show, I remember my Grandmother taking me to the movies as a little boy to see Don Knotts in "The Incredible Mr. Lipid" - Don Knotts was great in that movie as a man who gets his wish and becomes a fish and then plays a vital role in helping the USA defeat the Japanese in the Pacific. Don was also great as Mr. Furley on "Three's Company" In the late 1970's & early 1980's. In short, Don Knotts was a comedic genius whose name belongs in mentioning with some of the other great comedic actors of his generation. He will live forever in our hearts filled with laughter. I am sure he is smiling right now seeing and hearing how much happiness he brought to so many people. God Bless!

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4335: thank you don for making life better. paul, chino calif

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4336: I'd like to thank this web site for allowing us all to write a few kind words about Mr. Knotts I know he has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. TV is not what it once was it has gone down the tubes so to say. I just thank the man above for these great reruns that we get to see. Other wise there wouldn't be any tv worth watch. TAGS is by far better than any thing on today.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4337: I just want to say how happy he made me everytime I watched him, Barney was my favorite! I will always smile when I think of him and I know his family has happy memories too! My best wishes to his family, he was wonderful! Ruth Malone, Millington,Tennessee

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4338: One of my favorite scenes is in The Ghost & Mr. Chicken, where Luther is going to have lunch with Alma. Just watch the nervous movements that Luther makes oncee he realizes he has a chance to be with Alma but has to mail a package first. And then the speech he makes at the county fair! Bravery! The electrician must have been a democrat! I'd rather eat good food than bad food any ole day of the week! These are classic lines that get repeated regularly by me, and now my kids as well!

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4339: Don Knotts was the ONLY person that could have made Barney Fife so time enduring. He had the mannerisms that made him(Barney) so memorable and I have to say, I will watch those episodes COUNTLESS times and enjoy them as if it were the first time. Don Knotts will ALWAYS be with us!!

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4340: Thanks Barney (Don)! You will be missed by me more than you can imagine. I grew up with you and Andy and the rest of the cast, and I get to remember you when the re-runs are on at night. God Bless you and rest in peace. I hope I get to meet you again in Mayberry Heaven.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4341: I just discovered this website, and wonder how many more testimonials would be received if it were widely know. If laughter is the best medicine, then the character of Barney Fife is the ultimate healer. I feel that Don Knotts portrayal of Barney is the greatest role ever conceived. Like most on this site, TAGS has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. The characters seem like family. I have the first five seasons on DVD, an autographed picture of Mr. Knotts as Barney, and the best memories possible. Thanks to all responsible for Barney. W. I. Woods Evansville, IN.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4342: The inimitable Don Knotts died recently, however,
Barney Fife will live on in our hearts forever. You see, while he kept his bullet in his pocket over his heart, he kept us in his other pocket because he cared and tried to do what is right in his own inept way.
This, for me, is the legacy of Don and Barney. They both had the quiet courage that comes within the stillness of ourselves.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4343: AUGUST 4,2006 I know every show that you have made. I even can say what is going to be said next. I laugh just as hard as I did the first time I watched the show. Barney you were the greatest. Thank to all in the show for year of great entertainment.

August 02, 2006 - Msg 4344: I met Don Knotts at a signing he gave in the mall. I had been a fan since I was in elementary school and after yards and yards of people waiting in line he was so friendly to me and so kind. I will always remember him fondly and hold on to my autographed pictured.

August 03, 2006 - Msg 4345: Hey everyone this is EARNEST T. Bass!!

August 03, 2006 - Msg 4346: Boss Hogg was here!!

August 03, 2006 - Msg 4347: Thank you, Don Knotts, for the gift of Barney Fife.

August 03, 2006 - Msg 4348: Just the name Don Knotts makes me smile. What a wonderful gift! Thanks!

August 03, 2006 - Msg 4349: Barney Fife will endure forever. Don Knotts made that possible. Thanks for being in our lives.

August 04, 2006 - Msg 4350: I know that heaven must be enjoying Don Knotts! I still am in the reruns. I love him! Thank you for Barney, Mr. Limpit...

August 04, 2006 - Msg 4351: I have been a fan of Don Knotts every since he became Barney Fife. He makes my like just a little more tolerable, because he had such a special gift. Laughter is the best medicine. Thanks Barney for making my life that much easier. Fans forever Kathy, Holie, Hunter and Honey

August 04, 2006 - Msg 4353: I have been a fan of the Andy Griffith show for ever, i LOVE it more then anything on TV, I will never forget Don Knotts( Barney Fife), he is special in a very special way, no one will ever take his place. He always had me laughing, any time i was feeling down and watching the show, he would always lift my spirits. He will be sadly missed from the show but happily remembered for the way he was so uplifting. God Bless you Barney Fife!!! Hope the show will always be on for ever and ever. Mary Knowland

August 04, 2006 - Msg 4354: I actually cried when he died. Can't say that for much except people in my own family.

He was the master of slap stick falling down comedy. He will surely be missed.

August 04, 2006 - Msg 4355: After reading so many comments, I can't add more, except to say that here's one more fan of Don Knotts and Barney Fife (and everyone in Mayberry). It's true for me too that if I'm feeling down or can't find something decent on TV, I can count on TAGS to cheer me up and give me faith in entertainment again. A lot of that is thanks to you, Barney, but Andy is great too and so was Aunt Bee and Opie. We'll miss you Mr. Knotts and send the best to your family, but we'll always have Barney Fife to keep us laughing. Barbara Springdale, AR

August 05, 2006 - Msg 4356: I have been a fan of TAGS since I was a kid and I have been a Deputy Sheriff and a Police Officer for 36 years and just recently retired. I can remember many times in my career referring to Barney Fife and his character. I can also remember in several tense moments using the humor of the one bullet in the shirt pocket to break the tension and get a laugh. Yes Barney (Don Knotts) has passed on with Floyd the barber and many others from the show. Andy himself who lives near to me is looking so much older now and may not be with us much longer. Andy, Barney, Mayberry and the rest will always live on in our hearts and memories as a wonderful place and a wonderful time where we could all get away at least for a short while from the troubles of the world. May God bless Barney, Floyd, Aunt Bea and all the others for the gift they gave us and the everlasting memories they left behind. Master Deputy Richard Long (Retired), Chesapeake, Virginia.

August 05, 2006 - Msg 4357: August06,2006 Here in Australia we were fortunate to enjoy all the Andy Griffith shows and had an admiration of all the good clean humour that we saw. Don Knotts was a favourite over here and it is with re
gret that we learned of his passing on to Glory. Truly the age of innocence has passed us by and memories are precious in these days or turmoil. May God richly bless his family and may they be comforted in the fact that eventually we will all meet again in the City of Gold. Vale Don. Elizabeth Gregory Jamisontown N.S.W.Australia
